Kate is my younger sister. She is more of my cheer leader. She has got my back since day one and my best friend. We share happy and the sad moments together. She knows the inside and ot of my and I'm am truly "honored" to have her as my Maid of Honor in my wedding.
I have known Whitney for about 7 years. She is my community college mate who became more like a sister. As a sister, i thought it would be great for her to be a part of this memory.
Ruby Boateng and I met on our way to our first Genetics class at the U of M as transfer students both from the EastCoast. Rudy had transferred from a community college in NY while i transferred from NJ. We were both late when we met and i quickly thought to myself, "hmm, birds of the same feather, they say flock together". After a while knowing Ruby, I knew we were definately opposites. Ruby is outspoken and I am quite and reserved and so people wondered how we got along, even parents. I remember Ruby's father who is also like a father to me saying to be that "you are a good person if you can be friends with Ruby". LOL. We both are education focused and have bigger dreams. I always say to myself, even though we may be different in someways, based on physics we definately know that "opposite charges attract while like charges repel".
Thanks Ruby for being the great sister you are and being a part of my big day!
Vera is the younger sister of Ruby who is like a younger sister. Ver and her sister's and brother Oheneba have been a great support since my move to Mn. Whenever I call on them, they are always by me and with me through thick or thin. They have been my motivation, inspiration and advisors. I cannot thank God enough for bringing them into my life. Thank you lil sis for being part of my big day.
Soon to be Dr. Maj is a community college mate and organic chemistry and physics study buddy. I remember the times we used to stay up till about 3am in the mornings just trying to solve those tricky problems or study for our organic tests. Mabel used to take energy drinks that helped her stay awake but would crush right after our tests. She tried to introduce me to the 5 hour energy drink but i never gave in but somehow survived the allnighters. I am glad you are a part of making my day a memory doc.
Adowa is my high school buddy and we go way back. She knows all about my high school life; she knows about my popular Dj Woodman days on the AGISS campus and how the seniors used to bother me because they claimed I was the "AGISS fine boy". LOL. Adowa and I lost contacts after high school but thanks to Facebook, we reconnected and became even closer when she relocated to the United States. Thank you for being part of this day Adowoa!
JayDah is my best friend from junior high school's daughter. She is so cute and a princess. JayDah lives with her paents in the UK and will be flying over for our big day. Excited to have her on our train princess.
I chose David to be my best Man because of the good friendship we have together. My friendship with David started from Anoka Community College and continued to the University of Minnesota where we both majored in Electrical Engineering. We also currently work for the same Engineering firm and he sits across from me. David and I share many ideas together and I am glad to consider him as a great friend.
I chose Kojo to be part of the groomsmen not only because he is my younger brother, but because he is truly my best friend. We have been through a lot growing up. Being close in age, we shared many of the same interests and hobbies as we made our way through childhood, which allowed us to become very close friends. We’ve managed to remain very close as we’ve grown into adults, and I’m very grateful for that. I couldn’t have asked for anything more in a little brother.
Emma was my high school buddy and we were known to be “too old for the class” lol Interesting times though and memorable times. We also became study buddies during high school. My communication with him never ended when we both migrated to the US. We always keep each other in the loop and glad to have Emma be a part in the celebration.
I met Lawrence in high school as he was my brother Kojo’s class mate. We became friends during high school but our friendship became stronger when he migrated to the US. My brother, Lawrence and I all in leaved in the same house and really had a lot of fun together. After knowing each other and living together for so long, I could not do this without him and happy for him to be part of this celebration.
Kwaku Snr is another sibling of mine. His the eldest of my twin brothers who come after my brother Kojo. I could not do this without him. We share a lot of memories together growing up. We also have a lot in common and very excited to have him in my wedding.
Ernerst is another friend who can never be forgotten in great moments like these. . I really do not know what he would have done to me if he was not made part of this celebration. Lol. Anyway, he was a high school classmate of mine f who sat next to next to each other at same point if I remember correctly. We were known as the guys who wouldn't miss dining hall food called "choo" for anything. We were always present at the hall to make use of the fee we paid for daily meals. We studied together and ended up sleeping on our books while hiding to study. Lol. Glad to have you in the celebration brother.
This little guy is Ann's cousin and was chosen to be ring bearer because of his cuteness and handsomeness. He also looks very good in a suit. He has a great smile and he is also a family friend.

Thanks for taking the time to go through our photos.
I am blessed to have such great parents and can boastfully say I have the best parents in the world. My parents have been very supportive of every decision and step I have made growing up. My parents have been by myside no matter how rough the road has been.
I thank God for granting me the greatest mother on earth. A special thanks also goes to my late step father, Clinton Askew who has been my greatest support and part of the reason I am where I am today. A special thanks in rememberance of my departed grandparents and uncles. May their gentle souls rest in peace.
My sincere gratitude also goes to all my extended family; uncles and aunties and who have been supportive throughout my life. God bless you all!
My parents have been supportive of me and I can’t thank them enough for where they have brought me. I’m very grateful for all the advice especially the financial advice during college. I will like to thank my Dad for the discipline he instilled in me in my teenage age. Apparently, I was very stubborn.lol. Anyway, that discipline has brought me to where I am today. My parents have been an inspiration in my life and I can see how excited they are to see me get married especially to this wonderful woman of mine; Ann. Thanks Mon and Dad for all your love and support.
In the just started relationship, there was always a little jealousy fights and quarrels. In 2015, Annechael felt like it was time to introduce Kwame to her parents. She called her parents and both planned to travel to meet Ann's step dad and mum and introduce her new found love but it was rather unfortunate that Annechael’s step dad passed on to eternity later that year. Kwame expressed how glad he was that he had the opportunity speak with him on phone before he passed. Annechael was in so much pain and agony but Kwame stood by her throughout. They both travelled to the funeral and during the funeral, Kwame was very helpful and worked very hard to see through that everything was successful. Due to Kwame’s hardwork and participation, Annechael was even more convinced that she had found the perfect gentleman.
After the funeral, Kwame informed Annechael that he wanted her to take a day off from work because he was taking her to Vegas for a mini vacation so she could relax and clear up her mind from being in so much sorrow due to the loss of her step dad. They got to Vegas on a Friday evening and on Saturday early morning around 6am Kwame told Annechael that he was taking her for wine tasting and that she had to dress up. Upon arrival to the destination Annechael asked "why are we at a hot air balloon place", and Kwame smiled and said “I knew you would love it”. As the hot air balloon flew up to about 3000ft above the ground, Kwame went down on his knees and popped the question. Annechael was in tears and said agreed to marry Kwame.
I was born in the United Kingdom and moved to Ghana at a very young age where I spent most of my life growing up. I attended one of the best high schools in Ghana; the Accra Girls' Senior High School (AGISS). I moved to the United states after high school to further my education. I attended the Rowan College of Gloucester county where I earned an Associates in Science in Biology. I transferred to Rutgers; the state university of New Jersey for a semester and later decided to move to the University of Minnesota. As fate would have it i met Kwame at the U.
My childhood life started at Teshie, Accra. I attended St Peters’s Secondary school and I am proud to be a Perscodian. Growing up, I participated in several sports such as soccer, volleyball and track field. I was more in involved in sports during high school days but also took studies very seriously. After completion of high school, I travelled to US where I completed an Associate in Science degree at the Anoka Ramsey community college and transferred to the University of Minnesota where I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. During my undergraduate study at the University of Minnesota, I met Ann at one of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) general meetings. One would wonder what a Biology student was doing at an engineering meeting. Lol. We became friends and the rest as you know is history.
In 2011 Annechael moved from New Jersey to Minnesota to further her college education. Annechael was a Biology major in the College of Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota and Kwame was an Electrical engineering major in the College of Science and Engineering at the U.
Annechael joined the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), an engineering student group on campus where Kwame was student leader. Kwame and his team organized a monthly general membership meeting. Ann happened to attend one of these meetings as a new student at the U. Kwame met Ann at one of the meetings and that is where it all began.
